We're a local team of renewable energy engineers, passionate about helping West Midlands homeowners cut bills and go green. Currently in the process of obtaining MCS membership.
Who we are
Our Story
Panda Power was founded by Ben Wills and Stuart Simonds — two engineers who saw how much confusion and mistrust had crept into the solar industry. Too many homeowners were being sold systems that didn't perform as promised, by companies that disappeared after installation.
We set out to do things differently. Every survey is honest, every quote is transparent, and every installation is carried out by our own engineers — not subcontractors. We're based in Great Wyrley and we work across South Staffordshire and the wider West Midlands, so we're genuinely local to the customers we serve.

Ben Wills
Director & Lead Installer
Ben leads every installation from survey to sign-off, bringing hands-on expertise and a straightforward approach that customers trust. He's the person you'll speak to first, and often the person on your roof.
With a background in electrical contracting and renewable energy systems, Ben has overseen hundreds of residential solar and battery installations across the West Midlands.
Stuart Simonds
Director & Technical Lead
Stuart brings deep technical expertise to Panda Power, overseeing the engineering and compliance side of every project. From DNO applications to battery system commissioning, Stuart ensures every installation is safe, compliant, and built to last.
Stuart's background spans commercial and domestic electrical work, with specialist knowledge in battery storage systems and grid connection requirements.
